DJ Ron Celebrating his 22nd Year of Dedicated Service
BIOGRAPHYRon Lacasse a native of Lewiston, Maine home of the Lewiston High School Blue Devils now resides in Fredericksburg, Virginia. When Ron started DJ'ing in 1989 he was considered a novice. At the end of one of the parties Ron was approached by five impressed party-goers for his card. Improvising, Ron wrote his name and number on the handiest item available - napkins, less than a month later he was in business. Prior to being a disk jockey, he started teaching Country & Western dances for couples and line dancers in local establishments for groups of all ages.
DJ Ron, a Country & Western Dance Instructor has been entertaining locally in the Fredericksburg area and surrounding counties for years, to include the public and private sectors. Many of his past clients will tell you that Ron's energetic personality, and musical creativity can make the most stubborn crowds break out their dancing shoes. He has been interviewed by the Free Lance Star, a local news paper, on several occasions with articles on how he promotes fun and enjoyment for the surrounding counties. Dance demonstrations and lessons are selected from among the hundreds of dances Ron has learned. His program has been especially selected to demonstrate a wide variety of dances performed to today’s hottest country music by many of your favorite artists. Ron promotes fun for its followers and for those who enjoy watching his demonstrations.
NOW! For many years, DJ Ronhas focused his love and passion into Vintage Automobiles.Ron owns two antiques cars himself. A 1929 Ford Roadster (Model A), and a 1967 Camaro Pro Street 502 big block, blown with nitrous. Independent Cruisers, Car Clubs and even spectators have traveled from all over just to hear the great oldies music he plays when DJing at car shows and cruise-in. Cruisers also attend to showcase their vehicles, participate in dancing, 50/50 drawings, door prizes, and to enter their kids in a hula hoop or even have the water balloon tossing contest to cool down on a hot summer evening. Ron even carries his very own Drag Race Christmas Tree where women and men compete against each other for best reaction time.
