MAY 17 The 8th Annual Children’s Miracle Network Fundraiser – Located at the Fairgrounds in Fredericksburg VA. Entry fee is $10. Top 25 awards as well as trophies for Best Car, Best Truck, Best Bike and Best Industrial Truck. Activities start at 9 AM to 6 PM – Many vendors will be on site craft show, horse rides, a petting zoo, barrel train rides, Fredericksburg Police K9 Show, face painting, tattooing, balloon sculptures.

MAY 18th The Good Time Cruisers 8th Annual Car Show will be held from 8 AM till 3 PM rain or shine at Harry’s Tires and Wheels at 31300 Constitution Hwy (Route 20) in Locust Grove VA. Breakfast/Lunch served by East Orange Ruritans. $15 entry fee. Dash Plaques to first 100 registered. Two $50 cash drawings (1 for pre-register, 1 for all registered). AUG 30 The 2nd Annual Car-B-Que will be held in Warrenton VA at the Fairgrounds. Gates open at 9 AM and awards will begin at 3 PM. Top 25 as well as Best Brand and other awards. This show is one of the Fauquier County Fair Board's non profit fundraising events so they can support the facility for community use. $15 show entry fee and $5 general admission. NOV 8 Lets Rock & Roll for a Cure - Step back in time to a 1950's Sock Hop, have some fun and dance the night away, helping to find a cure for Cancer! Hosted by the GE Relay for Life Team from 8 PM till 12 midnight at the Best Western Lee Jackson Motor-Inn located at 711 Millwood Ave in Winchester VA. Live Music by the Rock and Roll Relics! Break out your best 1950's attire and see who will be awarded the Best Greaser (Guys), Best Dressed 50's Couple, Best Bobby-Socker (Ladies), & Best Nerd! Also if you love to dance 50's style, come on out and enter our Dance Contest. Awards for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place dance contest. There will be raffles, 50/50 and a Silent Auction. Cost is $25 per person and includes a Heavy Hors d'oeuves buffet with over a dozen items to choose from. Cash Bar available. Must be 21. No BYOB! Non-Smoking room, smoking available out side. Overnight accommodations available through Best Western Lee-Jackson Motor Inn at (540)662-4154. A 10% discount will be offered to ticket holders only.
